The Andrew Oswald Memorial Fund will hold its 6th Annual AJO4LAX Golf Tournament on Friday, June 8th, 2012 at Cobblestone Golf Course, Acworth, GA (the same course as last year). Shotgun start at 8:30 AM, so that travelers can get to the airport in a timely manner after the festivities and others don’t have to contend with Atlanta evening rush-hour traffic.

As the chief fundraising vehicle for the Andrew Oswald Memorial Fund, AJO4LAX Golf tournaments in ‘07, ‘08, ‘09, ’10 and ’11 raised close to $70,000 and are now funding 8 annual $1000 scholarships with the 9th and 10th to be awarded this May. We have also made significant contributions to Safe Teen Driving Initiatives and Youth Lacrosse programs in the Atlanta area helping to promote awareness to our teens of the dangers involved when they get behind the wheel.

The cost for this year’s tournament is $150 per player or $500 per foursome. Historically, we have had 110 golfers tee off in support of Andrew’s memory. Our goal this year is to have 120 golfers helping to raise $15,000, which will allow us to continue to fund multiple scholarships and other initiatives that help teens Make Good Choice. We are also looking for Hole Sponsors at a rate of $100 per hole.
